i started off writing rock and hip hop songs since middle school and have kept it up well after ever since. Constantly progressing and evolving such as my music taste does, my influences are everywhere from nirvana, hole, and smashing pumpkins to a tribe called quest, eminem, jayz and nas, and notable production styles from prefuse 73, madlib, dr. dre, dj premier, and easy mo bee. While constantly creating different types of music, out of the pure love of exploration in sound, around 2008 i began making instrumentals on fl studio, trying to carve out a style such as my aforementioned influences and from 2012 on chose the name R.s. to produce under. Sampling things from older jazz and funk songs to building up new compositions with electronic instrumentation, theres no limits in what i like to do and where i want to go musically .
